Be a volunteer friend in London

Somewhere in London right now, someone is going through a lonely stretch and would love a friendly voice. You could be that friend.

Hi, I'm Ameen. I started Good Company to be a real, platonic friend to people who need one — and I can't be everywhere. So we're building a circle of kind, vetted volunteer friends around the world, and we'd love you to be among the first in London.

To be honest with you: we're just getting started here. We're not going to pretend we already have a big network in London — we don't yet. That's exactly why your application matters. You'd be helping bring good company to people in your own city.

What you'd do

How we keep everyone safe

Because the people we serve are often vulnerable, every volunteer is vetted before being matched with anyone: an application, 18+, photo ID, references, a personal conversation with Ameen, a conduct code (strictly platonic, never romantic or asking for money), and short training. First contact is always through the platform. You can step back any time.

Join the circle

Once you're vetted, you don't just join a roster — you become a friend of mine and of the others, and we look out for each other and walk through life's ups and downs together. If that speaks to you, London, I'd love to hear from you.
